August has just started, and Netmarketshare has accordingly updated the OS share statistics for July 2017. Unlike last month, the Windows 10 share this month grew by a larger margin, while others declined. Let us see details of each OS one by one:
Windows 10 NetmarketShare statistics July 2017
Change: +0.83 percent.
Windows 10, the latest OS from the software giant, benefited from the Creators Update, and its share increased by 0.83 percent. It now stands at 27.63 percent, making it the second most used OS.
Windows 7
Change: -0.13 percent.
Windows 7, the most successful OS of Microsoft went down a bit this month standing at 48.91 percent while previous share was 49.08 percent in June.
Windows 8.1
Change: +0.08 percent
Windows 8.1 had a slight increase, standing at 6.48 percent in July as compared to 6.40 in June.
Windows XP
Change: -0.91 percent
Windows XP is going down, as per the statistics say. Stragely it increased 1 percent last month, but it lost almost the same share in July. The OS had 6.1 percent share in July.
