[Pro Tip] Manage bandwidth usage for downloading updates in Windows 10 Fall Creators update

A lot of users running Windows 10 use Internet connection which is limited either in time or data. For example, my secondary connection allows me to use a GB of data per day (LTE Network) and afterwards the speed is limited to some Kbps.
Windows 10 updates, be it the apps ones or Windows update ones are somewhat painful in these cases, especially when Windows 10 was introduced. There have been many refinements like the introduction of Active hours which allows you to download and install updates at specific hour frames and delivery optimization. Also, the Pro and Enterprise versions of windows offer more flexibility in controlling the updates as compared to home. But, for both Microsoft is listening to the feedback and is actively improving on improving the update experience.
The next step in this regard is managing bandwidth usage by Windows. With Fall Creators update, Microsoft has introduced a new feature in Windows that allows you to control how much bandwidth you dedicate to Windows background update services. You can dedicate a specific percentage to Windows update of the total bandwidth like 20 or 30 or 40 percent of the total bandwidth of your connection. For example, if your total bandwidth is 1 Mbps and you set the slider to 40, Windows would only be able to use 400Kbps of bandwidth for updates download. This feature is quite handy if you have a slow connection or have a limited data plan. Here is a screenshot in action:
To use this setting, Just head over to Settings>Update and security>Advanced options to get started.
This is what support page says specifically regarding this:

Bandwidth limits only apply to automatic Delivery Optimization updates, which are background downloads.

This means updates would be affected by this change only. Time would tell how handy this feature is for the people.
